| Why/How: |
On January 31, 2009 at 2:42 p.m., Steven Wood was operating a 2008 Zhejiang, Scooter east on Waters avenue within the outside lane approaching the intersection with Twelve Oaks Blvd. Christopher Jones was traveling the same direction within the center lane in a 2006 Nissan. For unknown reasons, the scooter operator swerved into the center lane and was struck by the right front of the Nissan. The scooter operator was not wearing a helmet and was knocked to the ground. Wood was transported to St. Josephs Hospital where he expired. |
