This morning at approximately 9:00 a.m. detectives served a search warrant at the Bridge Hampton address and arrested William Steinbraker charging him with 3 counts of Sexual Performance by a Child.
In December of 2008, the suspect over the internet shared computer files with a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office undercover detective. As a result of the shared files, detectives began an investigation that lead to the identity of the suspect, William Steinbraker. A search warrant was obtained and served today at the suspect’s residence. A pre scan of the suspect’s computer revealed 3 video files containing child pornography. The files depicted children as young a 3 years old and a child under the age of 12 engaged in bondage and bestiality.
The suspect’s computer will be transported to Florida Department of Law Enforcement where a forensic examination will be conducted.
