Why/How:

On January 6, 2009 the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit executed as court authorized search warrant at the address of 2014 East Lumsden Road, Valrico. A search of the residence yielded a residence converted for the sole purpose of cultivation of marijuana. The residence was equipped with the numerous ballasts; grow lights and various other marijuana indoor grow equipment. A total of 80 marijuana plants were seized from the residence. The marijuana weighed 235 pounds and has a street value of $940,000.00. Alvarez was arrested and transported to Orient Road Jail. |
