Inmate Contact Information
Getting Mail to Inmates:   You may communicate with an inmate at any time via the U.S. Mail or private delivery service.  We receive deliveries Monday through Saturday from the U.S. Postal Service.  All incoming mail is opened and searched for contraband.  All magazines, newspapers and books must come directly from the publisher.  Legal and other privileged mail is opened only in the presence of the inmate addressee.

Getting Money to Inmates:  We can only accept government checks, cashier's checks, and money orders.    The instrument must contain the inmate's name, booking number and the depositors name and address.  Funds may be deposited at any Hillsborough County Jail Facility.  It may take 24 to 96 hours for funds to be credited to an inmate's account.

Visiting Inmates:  The inmate may schedule visitors seven days a week.  Visitation hours are Sunday through Saturday 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a 40 minute visit commencing promptly on the hour. With the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.   A valid government picture ID is required.  The maximum number of visitors that may visit an inmate at the same time is three.  Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (one adult may accompany 2 children under 18 years of age).
Phone Calls:  Inmates cannot receive phone calls.  Collect calls can be made from the housing units from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
