Around 7:30 a.m., a passing driver located the body of an adult Hispanic male, believed to be in his early 20s to early 30s, on the side of the roadway near 3500 County Road 579. The man appeared to have suffered an upper body trauma.
At this time the circumstances of his death are unknown, and the victim's identity has not yet been confirmed.
Detectives are asking anyone who may have been driving through the area between midnight to 7 a.m. Thursday, November 21, who saw a vehicle parked on the side of the roadway or anything suspicious to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 813-247-8200 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a cash reward.
