Detectives with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office are investigating a homicide at an apartment complex in Brandon.
On Sunday, October 18, 2020, at approximately 8:45 p.m., witnesses called 911 after hearing gunfire outside. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the body of a Hispanic male, in his late twenties, in a parking lot located in the 2200 block of Kendall Springs Court.
"Details surrounding this case are very limited at this time," said Sheriff Chad Chronister. "Detectives are currently processing evidence and interviewing residents to determine who's behind this attack that left a man dead and a family grieving."
